The Role:

We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our inventory department as a Ready to Rent Technician in Greenford, London!

In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently maintaining, repairing, and preparing our camera equipment to ensure that is it is ready for our customers to rent.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure equipment is made ready for rental in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Identify equipment issues and perform basic repairs and software updates.
  • Escalate complex repair requirements to the relevant departments.
  • Replace any missing items, order replacement parts and build equipment kits.
  • Maintain inventory room and engraving machine ensuring a safe, clean and tidy environment.
  • Build kits when new and on an ongoing basis, including engraving, barcoding, labelling and casing.
  • Identify equipment that requires cosmetic attention and instigate solutions.
  • Utilise information from CMS to prioritise prep tasks and manage work schedule.
  • Communicate with rental, inventory, prep and other departments to notify of any equipment shortages or concerns.
  • Identify slow moving equipment or other equipment challenges and report to line managers.
  • Support and assist with annual or ad hoc inventory counts and inventory projects or clean ups.
